Catharina J. Chin Eng, Esq.

Ms. Chin Eng's practice focuses on patent and intellectual property law. She has significant experience advising clients on the development, management and enforcement of global intellectual property rights in areas, such as pharmaceuticals, biologics, consumer and industrial products and medical devices. Cathy has represented clients in various stages of patent litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, motion practice, claim construction, trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeal. Also, she is experienced with post-grant proceedings in the USPTO, conducting freedom-to-operate evaluations and due diligence relating to intellectual property rights as well as procuring patent rights for clients.

Admissions: New York, (1995); registered to practice before U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Education: New York University School of Law (1994); The Cooper Union, summa cum laude, (BE Chemical Engineering, 1989).
